When the Dragons Come

What will you do when the dragons come?

And destroy everything there is.

Their wingspans spread over the sun.

Their serpentine shapes slither through the sky.

They fall upon you like rain.

They have claws and teeth ever-reaching

That propel deep into the earth,

And tear it out by the roots.

They light up the night with their fire.

All your cities will be destroyed.

You live your life and forget

That the bottom goes out from under you,

When the dragons come.

Pray.

You will not be able to think in this moment.

The dragons will come,

And turn all into ruins.

The world fades into dust.

Nothing can stop the dragons on that day.
